Pre and post work

Prior to the workshop, participants are asked to:

  • Review the Prioritising Quadrants to think about where you do much of your work (revisited in-depth on course)

  • Read “Who’s got the monkey” by Oncken and Waas

  • Post course – watch Tim Urban – Inside the mind of the master procrastinator

Structure

  • The course is highly interactive – using discussion, group exercises, Miro boards and Mentimeter to capture participants’ prioritising and time management challenges

  • Participants come away with specific tools for:

  • Planning the months, weeks and day ahead

  • Using the Daily Agenda for better task control

  • Prioritising –  using Miro – how to identify what is Urgent and Important, and what actually can and should be planned in

  • Adhering to our plan and managing other’s expectations (and saying no!)

  • The One Day face to face is a tailored one team day in which we explore how the team needs to work together to maximise time and resources.
